Below you’ll find all the information regarding return eligibility and our policy guidelines to ensure your experience is as smooth as possible:

Eligibility for Returns

  • Final Sale Items: Items marked as "Final Sale" are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange. These items are sold at a significantly reduced price and not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
  • Items Sold Under $15: Products purchased at or below $15 are not eligible for return or exchange. Please ensure your purchase is final.
  • Marketplace and Social Shop Purchases: Items purchased outside of the official YMI Jeans website (e.g., third-party marketplaces, social media shops) are not eligible for return or exchange through our online store. Please refer to the return policy of the original purchase platform or find more information here

Conditions for Returns

  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of your purchase.
  • Items must be unworn, in new condition, without any odor and have original tags attached.
  • Outbound shipping and the Hassle Free Returns coverage fee (if purchased) are non-refundable.
  • Returns over $250 may incur a 20% restocking fee.
  • Customers with frequent return history may be subject to additional review.
  • *Items listed as Final Sale on our website are non-returnable.

*Please note: all swimwear, accessories, and YMI Girls products are Final Sale and not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

Return Process 

  • Start the return process here!
  • If you purchased Hassle Free Returns coverage at checkout, a return label will be available in the portal.
  • If not, you may be asked to cover the return shipping cost.

Hassle-Free Returns Coverage 

We offer an optional Hassle-Free Return add-on during checkout to make your return easier:

  • Covers the cost of a pre-paid return shipping label, so you won’t have to pay for postage later.
  • Simply print the label, attach it to your return package, and drop it off at the appropriate carrier location (e.g., USPS or UPS).
  • Does not cover package pickup services (where the carrier collects your return from your home). This is an optional, third-party add-on service that comes with an additional fee, charged by the carrier—not YMI.
  • If you did not use pickup and were still charged extra, please reach out to customercare@ymijeans.com so we can review and assist.

*Please keep your tracking number for your return for reference. If your return(s) is not received and you cannot provide the tracking number for your return, we will not be able to process your return.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected at our facility please allow 3-5 business days for us to process your return request. Once return is approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to original payment method within 5-7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at customercare@ymijeans.com.

If you selected store credit as your payment method of return, you will receive an email with your store credit information.

Damages and Issues

IN THE EVENT THAT ITEM(S) DELIVERED FROM AN ONLINE ORDER WERE RECEIVED DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT, YOU MUST CONTACT OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER WITHIN 7 DAYS OF DELIVERY IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A FULL REFUND TO YOUR ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD OR TO RECEIVE A REPLACEMENT ITEM. 

Unacceptable Conditions for Returns

We encourage you to try on items as you would in a store, but please avoid wearing them. Unfortunately, if returned items are damaged, worn, or in unsuitable condition, we cannot issue a refund. In such instances, we may need to return the items to you at your expense. Rest assured, all returned items undergo thorough inspection.

  • Returned items with visible signs of use, including makeup, hair, fibers, dander, dust, dirt, deodorant, or perfume, will not be accepted.

NO REFUNDS / STORE CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY "FINAL SALE ITEM" RECEIVED, AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED WITH A RE-SHIPPING FEE. IN THE EVENT WE DO NOT RECEIVE A RETURN LABEL, WE WILL DISPOSE THE ITEM RECEIVED WITHIN 7 DAYS. 

Policy Enforcement Notice

If we notice concerning patterns in your return behavior, such as indications of wearing items before returning (wardrobing), purchasing and returning excessive quantities, or returning missing or non YMI items, we may deactivate your account and any associated accounts. If you believe there has been an error, please contact our Customer Experience team for assistance.
